Ukrainian drones strike Russia's Ryazan, damaging oil refinery, residential block VIDEO
Several explosions were reported in the western Russian city of Ryazan overnight on 6 December, as Russian air defence forces responded to what authorities described as a large-scale украинian drone attack.
According to Russian sources, the main target was the Ryazan oil refinery, a key energy facility in the region.
One of the refinery’s processing units was damaged during the strike. Emergency services were dispatched to the site.
Another drone reportedly crashed into the roof of a multi-storey residential building, causing a fire on the upper floors. Residents said they heard around 14 explosions across the city during the incident.
Seven cars were damaged by falling debris, and windows were broken in several apartments. Emergency crews arrived quickly, and there have been no immediate reports of casualties.
