Ukrainian defence company Fire Point has announced the development of the FREYJA anti-ballistic shield, along with a new family of FP-7.x interceptor missiles designed to operate as its primary armament.
According to the company, the FREYJA system is being developed as a component of a future pan-European missile defence architecture aimed at strengthening regional protection against ballistic missile threats.
Fire Point said the project reflects its contribution to next-generation air and missile defence capabilities, with the FP-7.x interceptor missiles specifically designed to equip the new system.
