Ukrainian FM: Netherlands selects premises for special tribunal in The Hague
Ukraine has welcomed the Netherlands’ announcement that the premises for a planned Special Tribunal in The Hague have already been chosen, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
In a post on X, Sybiha thanked Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen and said Ukraine values the decision as an important step forward, Caliber.Az reports.

“We value today’s announcement that the premises for the Special Tribunal in The Hague have already been chosen,” Sybiha wrote.
He added that the Netherlands continues to demonstrate that The Hague’s role as the world’s legal capital is not only symbolic, but reflected in practical actions.
“The Netherlands continues to show that The Hague's role as the world's legal capital is not just symbolic — it is lived every day through actions like this,” he said.
Sybiha also expressed gratitude for what he described as the Netherlands’ “steadfast partnership” with Ukraine on the path to delivering justice.
