Ukrainian military taught to repair M270 missile systems in Britain PHOTO

Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel are undergoing special training and mastering the maintenance of the M270 multiple rocket launcher system in the UK.

As one of the Ukrainian militaries noted, the M270 MLRS "were crucial for the ability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to retaliate against invaders in our occupied lands", European Pravda cites the Ukrainian General Staff as saying on Facebook.

The exercise is part of the UK Armed Forces' Operation Orbital training exercise.

"The training package, provided by contractors from the Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering [DSEME] and the 26th Royal Artillery Regiment, provides the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the necessary skills to keep the MLRS operational," the statement said.

The skills learned in this course will be transferred to other military personnel upon their return to Ukraine.
