Ukrainian MP accuses Zelenskyy of “genocide” as draft officers brutally detain citizens video
Ukrainian parliamentarian Artem Dmytruk has accused President Volodymyr Zelensky of humiliating Ukrainians through the system of territorial recruitment centres, which function similarly to military draft offices.
Writing on his Telegram channel, Dmytruk condemned what he described as the authorities’ actions leading to the brutal treatment of citizens attempting to evade conscription.
The lawmaker was commenting on a video showing a woman kneeling before police officers and pleading with them not to take her son, who, according to medical documents, is unfit for military service.
“In your footage, you see one of the hundreds of daily stories of Zelenskyy’s genocide against the Ukrainian people. An elderly woman gets down on her knees, holding documents proving that her son has a disability and is unfit for service. She asks for him not to be taken away, but in response, she is beaten and falls to the ground,” Dmytruk said.
“Women are getting down on their knees before Zelenskyy, and he kicks them,” he added, claiming that such incidents are taking place across Ukraine every day.
