Ukrainian president arrives in Brussels for EU meetings
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Brussels on December 18 to attend an informal meeting between European leaders and the European Council.
In a statement published by Zelenskyy on his official Telegram account, he calls the end of Russia's war against Ukraine a fundamental issue for Europe which “requires coordinated and effective work from European countries,” Caliber.Az reported.
As part of his visit to the European capital, he is set to meet leaders from France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, and the Czech Republic, as well as the NATO Secretary General, the President of the European Council, and the President of the European Commission. He also confirmed his participation at the European Council meeting, set for December 19.
