Ukrainian president holds extended military staff meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has conducted a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, which considered three main issues of major challenges.
"Today the Stavka [Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters] has been expanded. Two hours to discuss the main challenges,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ukrainian president’s Telegram channel.
The first one is the protection of the nuclear power plant. Air Force Commander Oleshchuk, Minister Klimenko, Chairman of Ukraine’s State Security Service Deineko reported. Director of Energoatom Kotin and Director of KNPP Koziura were also heard.
The second was the situation at the front. Reports from commanders Zaluzhny, Syrskyy, Tarnavskyy, Moskalev and Naev. The commander-in-chief is ordered to reinforce the North.
“Third - a further buildup of own equipment and ammunition production, speeding up the pace of Western-style equipment repairs. Reports: commander of the logistics forces - Gulyak, Minsttrategprom - Kamyshyn, Ministry of Infrastructure - Kubrakov, Ministry of Defence - Reznikov," Zelenskyy wrote.
