Ukrainian president orders preparation of bill to reform State Bureau of Investigation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he has instructed officials to prepare proposals for the renewal of the State Bureau of Investigation and to submit them promptly to the Verkhovna Rada.

In a post on X, Zelenskyy said he expected a presidential bill on the matter to be drafted as early as January and sent to parliament without delay, Caliber.Az reports. 

I instructed that proposals for the renewal of the State Bureau of Investigation be prepared and promptly submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. I expect the presidential bill to be drafted as early as January and submitted to Parliament without delay.
