Ukrainian president, Slovak prime minister sit down for talks in Yerevan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Yerevan, Armenia, stating that Kyiv remains open to constructive dialogue and is interested in developing bilateral relations with Bratislava.
Writing on Telegram, the Ukrainian leader noted that the two sides discussed cooperation in various areas, as well as the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission.
“We also talked about exchanging visits to Kyiv and Bratislava — we agreed that the teams will work on scheduling. We also addressed the issue of Ukraine’s membership in the European Union. It is important that Slovakia supports Ukraine’s accession to the EU and is ready to help on this path. Thank you for that,” Zelenskyy said in the statement.
