Ukrainian president unveils end of war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that it is possible to complete the military part of Russia's war against Ukraine till late 2022.

“Ukraine will be able to come to such a point when Russia will have to sit down at the negotiating table,” RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to President Zelenskyy’s interview with CNN.

“It [the end of the war before the end of this year] depends on us, you and leadership. If our state is united, such as it is now, if powerful weapons are supplied by our partners in time, if we are lucky and God supports us, then we can do a lot before the end of this year. I am sure that the military part of this war can be completed,” he said.

President Zelenskyy added that the negotiations would be the final part of the war.

“If we are strong, we can come to such a point when Russia will have to sit down at the negotiating table. If this happens, it will be a very strong position from which it will be possible to speak. The final stage of the war is to speak,” the president said.
