Ukrainian Security Service declares Russian TV executive Tina Kandelaki wanted
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has officially listed Tina Kandelaki, Deputy Director General of the Russian media conglomerate Gazprom-Media and Director of the TNT television channel, as a wanted person.
The announcement, originally made in March 2022, has resurfaced in Ukrainian media and was confirmed by data from the SBU’s wanted persons database, as reported by TASS.
Kandelaki is accused of violating Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty—charges stemming from her public support for Russia’s actions and her visit to the annexed Crimean Peninsula.
Her name was also added to the controversial Ukrainian website “Myrotvorets” (Peacemaker) back in 2017, which documents individuals deemed to be enemies of Ukrainian statehood. The listing cited her visit to Crimea and endorsement of Russian policies as justification for her inclusion.
