Ukrainian students, teachers from Lingvist lyceum arrive in Azerbaijan
A group of students and teachers from the Humanitarian Lyceum Lingvist named after Zarifa Aliyeva in Irpin, Ukraine, has arrived in Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan has announced on social media.
He noted that the trip was organised at the invitation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
During the visit, Ukrainian schoolchildren will travel to Baku, Gabala, Sheki, and Zagatala, where they will learn about Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, traditions, and modern development.
Husyev said such initiatives make an important contribution to strengthening friendly ties between Ukraine and Azerbaijan and create new opportunities for Ukrainian children for development, recreation, and intercultural dialogue.
The diplomat also thanked SOCAR and Azerbaijani partners for their support for Ukraine and care for Ukrainian children.
