Ukrainian textile company left in ruins after strike in Kyiv PHOTO / VIDEO

The main production facility and logistics warehouse of the Ukrainian “Domashniy Tekstil” trading company were destroyed in a strike in Kyiv, co-owner Alexander Sokolovsky said in a Facebook post.

He noted that this was at least the second strike on the group’s facilities in Kyiv in less than a year.

In November 2025, an attack damaged around 5,000 square meters of warehouse and production facilities belonging to Tekstil-Kontakt, the group behind the “Domashniy Tekstil” trading company. The preliminary damage was estimated at $300,000 at the time.

Tekstil-Kontakt brings together companies specialising in the production of fabrics, home textiles, clothing and other textile products.

Local public channels also reported a strike on a garage cooperative in Kyiv’s Obolon district.
