Ukrainian troops repels enemy attacks in area of ​​16 settlements

The Ukrainian military continues to destroy Russian troops.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled the attacks of the enemy, who was trying to advance in the Bakhmut and Avdeevka directions, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the operational summary of the military operations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“In the Volyn and Polesye directions, the situation has not changed significantly.

For other areas:

in the Seversky direction – from mortars and cannon artillery in the areas of the settlements of Bleshnya, Gay and Senkovka of the Chernihiv region and Starikov of the Sumy region;

in the Slobozhansky direction – from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery, in the areas of 18 settlements, including Glubokoye, Udy, Ogurtsovo, Strelka, Kolodeznoye, Dvurechnoye, Neskuchnoye;

in the Kramatorsk direction – from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Spirnoye, Belogorovka, Verkhnekamennoye, Razdolevka, Serebryanka, Grigorievka, Dronovka, Veseloye;

in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Ivangrad, Poprosnoye, Mayorsk, New York, Vyemka, Razdolevka, Vesele and Odradovka; 

in the Avdeevka direction – Avdeevka, Krasnogorovka, Pervomayskoye and Novomikhailovka were shelled.

In the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions, the enemy did not carry out offensive operations. Infrastructure in areas of 16 settlements suffered from enemy fire. Others include Vremovka, Temirovka, Olgovskoye, Gulyaipolskoye and Zheleznodorozhnoye.

In the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy is trying to intensify measures to discredit the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Special correspondents from Russian media are additionally involved to create fake content.

In the Yuzhnobugsky direction, areas of more than 27 settlements, which are near the collision line, were shelled from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery.

Subdivisions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vyimka, Bakhmutskoye, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Ozeryanovka, Zaitsevo, Odradovka, Andreevka, Pervomayskoye, Krasnogorovka, Vesele, Kamenka, Pobeda, Nevelskoye, Novomikhaylovka.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to keep enemy logistics facilities and their supply arteries under fire control.

Over the past day, another enemy pontoon crossing was destroyed. In addition, information was confirmed about the destruction of enemy ammunition depots on October 5 this year near the village of Kinski Rozdory.

Enemy units continue to suffer losses. Thus, in the areas of the settlements of Pologi and Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of shelling by units of the Defence Forces of areas where enemy manpower was concentrated, the enemy lost about 85 people wounded. Information about the dead is being specified.

In the Luhansk region, about three hundred wounded from among the prisoners who agreed to fight on the territory of Ukraine were delivered to the local hospital in Novosvetlivka.

Aviation of the Defence Forces carried out 30 strikes over the past day. The defeat of 24 places of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 6 anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy was confirmed. In addition, air defence units shot down two enemy helicopters.
