UN assesses China's plan to resolve Ukraine crisis

UN Secretary-General's Deputy Spokesman Farhan Haq has assessed China's plan to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

"Too little time has passed for us to give estimates. We need more details about the proposals," Lenta.Ru reports, citing Haq.

At the same time, he noted that the UN encourages the efforts of any countries that are aimed at a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict.

"And if there is a path to peace with the participation of one of these countries, we urge it to continue its efforts," he added.
