29 September 2025 13:45
A new cooperation program between the United Nations and Azerbaijan for the years 2026–2030 may soon be signed, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva announced during the Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW 2025), according to Report.
Andreeva emphasised that the program aims to transform current initiatives into a structured framework for collaboration. “I hope that on October 24 – United Nations Day – a program between the UN and Azerbaijan for 2026–2030 will be signed,” she said.
The planned program will focus on climate action, climate justice, green economy, and youth participation, making these areas the core pillars of joint work between Azerbaijan and the UN over the next five years.
