UN calls for dialogue to avoid US-Russia escalation over drone incident

A spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) Stéphane Dujarric has said that although the UN is not informed well about the drone incident between the US and Russia over the black sea, the organisation's concern over the issue is obvious.

"Well, what I will say is that we have zero information on what exactly happened. But, the only information we have is through press reports that we’ve seen," Dujarric said in a press briefing on March 15. 

"Secretary-General’s reaction would be what you would expect — is that he would call for dialogue and an avoidance of any escalation."
