UN chief regards strikes on Ukraine as unacceptable escalation

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres believes that Russia's missile strikes represent another escalation of the situation around Ukraine.

The official representative of Guterres, Stefan Dujarric, made the remarks on October 10, TASS reports.

"The secretary-general is deeply shocked by today's large-scale missile strikes of the Russian Armed Forces on the cities of Ukraine. This represents another unacceptable escalation," the report says.
