UN Secretary-General visits Türkiye for Ramadan solidarity

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has begun a Ramadan solidarity visit to Türkiye.

“The Secretary-General Antonio Guterres began his Ramadan solidarity visit in Türkiye, whose generosity in hosting refugees and asylum seekers is remarkable,” the organisation said in a statement on X.

During his visit to Ankara, Guterres toured Turkish institutions supporting refugees and met with civil society representatives.
