United States restricts Russia's oil profits

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said that Washington is interested in continuing oil supplies to world markets. However, Moscow should receive a limited profit from its sale.

"Our country is part of the global oil market, which is subject to geopolitical influences. Due to the global nature of this market, it is almost impossible for us to protect ourselves from shocks like those that occur in Russia and drive world oil prices," Russia's lenta.ru reports, quoting the minister.
