14 August 2022 14:55
UK writer J.K. Rowling has been threatened in response to her Twitter post in which she condemned the attack on her colleague Salman Rushdie.
Rowling supported the writer and said that she did not feel well after the incident, according to news.ru.
"Do not worry. You are next,” a user named Meer Asif Aziz wrote in the comments under the post.
Afterwards, Rowling publicly asked the Twitter support service to intervene, and also appealed to the police.
Rushdie was attacked in New York on August 12, getting ten stab wounds.
