US adds 22 more advanced B-2 bombers to strategic arsenal

The United States has placed an order for 22 additional B-2 Spirit strategic bombers, President Donald Trump announced.

“We just ordered 22 more of them, modern version, by the way, super modern version,” Trump told reporters at West Palm Beach Airport in Florida before departing on a working trip to Tennessee, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

The aircraft reportedly carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last summer, and Washington is also employing them in the ongoing US-Israeli military operation against the Islamic Republic.
