US aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush to arrive in Thailand

The US aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush will arrive in Thailand’s Phuket province on October 5, accompanied by the destroyer USS Delbert D. Black, according to local police.

The Patong Police Station said in a statement published on Facebook that the aircraft carrier, which has a crew of approximately 4,800, and the destroyer, with about 320 crew members, will be docked at Phuket’s deep-water port from October 5 to 10, 2026, Caliber.Az reports. 

Thai police officials reminded the US personnel arriving in Phuket that they must strictly comply with Thai laws during their stay on the island.
