“Hezbollah gives the IDF an opportunity to successfully test their new laser Iron Beam technology. Been in shelter twice in last hour. Grateful for Israeli innovation this morning,” the ambassador wrote.
The “Iron Beam” system is designed to intercept rockets, mortar shells, and drones using a high-energy laser and is intended to complement Israel’s existing air defence capabilities.
