US ambassador: Those who hate Israel should give up modern conveniences
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has made a strongly worded statement about Israel’s role in the modern world, arguing that the country’s influence extends across technology, medicine and everyday conveniences used by millions globally.
Huckabee responded to criticism and rejection of Israel by highlighting innovations and products linked to the country, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Clash Report.
“I hear people say, ‘I don’t want anything to do with Israel.’ Okay, give up your cell phone. Give up car navigation. Give up some medical innovations that may have saved some member of your family’s life,” he noted.
Huckabee said anyone who rejects Israel should give up conveniences like cherry tomatoes and seedless watermelons as well, and not buy anything that has an Nvidia or an Intel chip.
“Let’s get rid of most of your computers and a whole lot of the software that you use because it was innovated here. And I’m sorry to break it to you, but if you hate Israel that much, you’re going to be living a very different kind of life,” Huckabee added.
