US Chamber of Commerce executive director in Azerbaijan dies at 48 PHOTO
Gulnara Aslanbayli, 48, the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham), died unexpectedly on March 6.
Throughout her tenure, Aslanbayli played a pivotal role in the growth and development of AmCham Azerbaijan, demonstrating unwavering dedication, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to strengthening the country’s business community, Caliber.Az reports.
“Her leadership, wisdom, and warm personality left a lasting mark on our organisation and on everyone who had the privilege of working with her. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Her memory and contributions will remain an enduring part of AmCham Azerbaijan’s legacy,” AmCham Azerbaijan stated.

AmCham Azerbaijan, founded in 1996, is a leading private, non-profit business association dedicated to supporting and promoting the interests of both foreign and local companies. Representing roughly 80% of all foreign investment in the country, the chamber brings together over 270 companies across all economic sectors. It serves as a bridge between the business community and government institutions, facilitating economic cooperation and investment in Azerbaijan.
