US conducts another anti-drug operation in Caribbean, killing two VIDEO
US forces carried out another operation against drug traffickers in the Caribbean Sea, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said on May 4.
“On May 4, at the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations,” the statement said.

According to the military, intelligence confirmed that the vessel was travelling along known drug trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was involved in narcotics smuggling operations.
Two men identified as “narco-terrorists” were killed during the strike, while no US personnel were injured, the statement added.
