US embassy in Bahrain lifts shelter-in-place advisory

The Embassy of the United States in Bahrain has lifted all security advisories for American citizens in the country and allowed them to leave shelters following the establishment of a ceasefire with Iran.

The announcement was published on the embassy’s official website.

“The U.S. Embassy in Manama has lifted its shelter-in-place advisory,” the statement said.

However, the diplomatic mission urged U.S. citizens to remain cautious and closely follow official updates from Bahraini authorities. The embassy continues to operate in a limited capacity, providing only partial consular services.
