US evacuates consulate staff in Türkiye due to security concerns

The US State Department has ordered the evacuation of non-essential personnel from the US Consulate General in Adana, Türkiye and their families due to security threats, according to an official statement.

US citizens in southeastern Türkiye are advised to leave the area immediately, Caliber.Az reports.

The consulate has suspended all services, and Americans seeking assistance should contact the US Embassy in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
