US expands naval presence with carrier deployment to Indian Ocean

A U.S. Navy carrier strike group led by the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) has entered the area of responsibility of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), according to an official statement.
CENTCOM confirmed that the carrier is currently operating in the Indian Ocean as part of its deployment, as per Caliber.Az.
