US extends service life of A-10 Warthog until 2030
21 April 2026 13:47
The United States Air Force will extend the operational service life of its A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft, commonly known as the “Warthog,” until around 2030.
The decision marks a departure from earlier plans that had called for the aircraft’s earlier retirement from active service, Clash Report notes.
