US general arrives in Israel for strategic talks

The Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Charles Brown, has arrived in Israel, where he is scheduled to meet with the head of the General Staff of the Israeli army, Herzi Halevi.

According to the press service of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), the military leaders “will discuss security issues and strategy regarding joint training in the region as part of the response to threats in the Middle East,” Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

The IDF said it “will continue to deepen relations with the US Armed Forces as part of its commitment to strengthening regional stability and coordination between the two armies.”
