US intends to hold Iran accountable for introduction of new drones

New weaponry in the hands of the Iranian regime brings destruction and chaos in countries and regions where Iran wants to increase its role.

The US intends to use all possible ways to hold Tehran accountable for this, Deputy Speaker of the US State Department Vedant Patel stated, Caliber.Az reports with reference to his video briefing.

“What the US is going to do is we’ll continue to use the tools at our disposal to hold the Iranian regime accountable and we’ll do so in close conjunction with our allies and partners both through the EU and the E3 and the other relevant multilateral organizations that we engage with so closely to hold the Iranian regime accountable,” Patel said.

The US State Department spokesman added that the use of Iranian weapons, whatever they may be, certainly creates additional risks in undermining the situation in other regions.

In this regard, Patel recalled that over the past two years, the US administration has been paying attention, in particular, to the deepening of the military partnership between Iran and Russia.

According to him, any new potentially new weapons system in Tehran's hands increases the potential risk of destabilization in countries and regions outside Iran.
