US–Iran negotiations in Switzerland see major progress, Vance says

US Vice President JD Vance has stated that significant progress has been made in talks with Iran held in Switzerland, CNN reports.

“We’ve already made great progress over just the last few hours, and I expect that we will make additional progress in the hours to come,” he told journalists.

Vance added that this level of engagement is unprecedented in the history of US–Iran relations

“Never before has the Iranian and American leadership met at such a high level,” US Vice President noted.
