US leader warns China expands control over Canada
US President Donald Trump expressed concern over China’s growing influence on Canada, warning that the North American country is facing serious challenges that could reshape its future.
“China is successfully and completely taking over the once Great Country of Canada,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, Caliber. Az reports.
“So sad to see it happen. I only hope they leave Ice Hockey alone!” he added.
The president then turned his attention to Canada’s trade relationship with China, stressing that recent deals could have disastrous consequences.
“Canada is systematically destroying itself. The China deal is a disaster for them. Will go down as one of the worst deals, of any kind, in history," Trump warned.
The American leader noted that all Canadian business is moving to the US.
“I want to see Canada SURVIVE AND THRIVE!” Trump concluded.
He also shared a video of Canadian auto industry representatives highlighting the importance of maintaining trade ties with the United States.
