US, Qatar, Egypt to lead new Gaza negotiations

Further discussions to address the Gaza Strip situation will continue in Cairo with a focus on lower-level working groups.

The upcoming talks will include representatives from the US, Qatar, and Egypt, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

The official described the recent discussions as constructive and emphasized that all parties are working towards a feasible and final agreement. The latest round of talks occurred in Cairo on August 25, which brought together the Israeli delegation, led by Mossad chief David Barnea, head of Internal Security Agency Ronen Bar, and Major General Nitzan Alon.

Hamas chose not to engage directly in these consultations but agreed to observe the outcomes from Cairo indirectly.
