07 September 2025 17:17
A U.S. Army reconnaissance aircraft, the Bombardier ARTEMIS II, is currently patrolling the airspace over the Black Sea.
The aircraft took off from Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport in Romania and began operations over the Black Sea. Its destination remains undisclosed, Caliber.Az reports, citing Flightradar24.
The plane reached the Turkish coast before turning back and is now heading toward its departure airport.
The Bombardier ARTEMIS II is a reconnaissance aircraft based on the Bombardier Challenger 650 business jet, modified by Leidos for the U.S. Army. It is designed for long-range intelligence-gathering missions.
