US revenue from Venezuelan oil sales exceeds $13 billion this year

The United States has received more than $13 billion in revenue from the sale of Venezuelan oil since the beginning of the year, the Financial Times reported.

According to the report, the administration of US President Donald Trump has generated more than $13 billion from Venezuelan oil sales.

The United States took control of Venezuelan oil exports after President Nicolás Maduro was ousted and Vice President Delcy Rodríguez assumed the presidency.

The value of Venezuelan oil shipments since January has reached approximately $11.5 billion, while historical price trends indicate that total revenue is expected to exceed $13 billion, the report said.
