US senator: “Ayatollah’s regime has American blood on its hands”
US Senator Lindsey Graham has sharply condemned Iran, asserting that the country’s leadership bears responsibility for American casualties.
“The ayatollah’s regime has American blood on its hands. They are slaughtering people in the streets,” Graham wrote on X, commenting on media reports suggesting that Arab leaders have intervened on behalf of Iran to avoid decisive military action by US, Caliber.Az reports.
All the headlines suggesting that our so-called Arab allies have intervened on behalf of Iran to avoid decisive military action by President Trump are beyond disturbing. The ayatollah’s regime has American blood on its hands. They are slaughtering people in the streets.

“If it is accurate that the Arab response is ‘action is not necessary against Iran’ given this current outrageous slaughter of innocent people, then there will be a dramatic rethinking on my part regarding the nature of the alliances now and in the future,” Graham wrote.

Additionally, Graham emphasised the scale of any potential operation, suggesting he favours a robust response.
“President Trump’s resolve is not the question, the question is when we do an operation like this should it be bigger or smaller. I'm in the camp of bigger. Time will tell. I'm hopeful and optimistic that the regime's days are over,” he added.
