US senator warns Putin as Trump plans tariffs on Russian oil buyers “Your turn is coming”

In a blunt message directed at Russian President Vladimir Putin, US Senator Lindsey Graham declared that "your turn is coming," amid mounting tensions over Russia's ongoing conflict and energy exports.

Graham drew a striking comparison between President Donald Trump and professional golfer Scottie Scheffler, Caliber.Az reports.

"Donald Trump is the Scottie Scheffler of American politics and foreign diplomacy, and he’s about to put a whooping on your ass," Graham said on X:

The Senator highlighted Trump’s plan to impose tariffs on major buyers of Russian oil, specifically naming China, India, and Brazil. Graham stressed the strategic importance of these countries to Russia’s economy:

"Those three countries buy about 80% of cheap Russian oil, and they keep the Russian war machine going."
