The strikes targeted Iran’s ballistic missiles, drones, and naval forces, as well as what Cooper described as the country’s defence-industrial complex.
According to Cooper, US and allied forces have also destroyed over 100 Iranian military vessels and are working to deny Iran the ability to threaten shipping in and around the Strait of Hormuz.
He added that over the past two weeks, Iran has carried out more than 300 attacks across the region, targeting civilian infrastructure.
