US strikes destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities, intel chief says
The new American intelligence has revealed that the US military has destroyed Iran's nuclear facilities, setting back Tehran’s nuclear program by years, said Director of the US National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
“New intelligence confirms what POTUS has stated numerous times: Iran's nuclear facilities have been destroyed. If the Iranians chose to rebuild, they would have to rebuild all three facilities (Natanz, Fordow, Esfahan) entirely, which would likely take years to do,” Gabbard wrote in a post on X, Caliber.Az reports.
Gabbard also pushed back against media narratives, accusing outlets of manipulating intelligence leaks to discredit President Donald Trump and the military’s actions.
“The propaganda media has deployed their usual tactic: selectively release portions of illegally leaked classified intelligence assessments (intentionally leaving out the fact that the assessment was written with "low confidence") to try to undermine President Trump’s decisive leadership and the brave servicemen and women who flawlessly executed a truly historic mission to keep the American people safe and secure,” she added.
For the record, Iran has consistently claimed its nuclear activities are peaceful, while the US and its allies have accused Tehran of seeking nuclear weapons capability. The targeted facilities — Natanz, Fordow, and Esfahan — are central to Iran’s uranium enrichment and nuclear fuel production infrastructure.
