US trade representative to visit Uzbekistan to discuss economic ties
US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will visit Uzbekistan in the coming days to discuss the development of trade and economic relations and the formation of “fair, balanced and mutually beneficial” conditions for cooperation between the two countries, his office has announced.
It said Jamieson Greer will meet Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva, and Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev and will discuss the development of trade and economic relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.
The talks will focus on the formation of “fair, balanced and mutually beneficial” conditions for cooperation between the two countries.
According to the US side, the visit continues an earlier dialogue: in February, Greer held talks with Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Washington, where issues of expanding trade, investment and strengthening economic partnership were discussed.
