US vows to faciliate transfer of tanks from NATO countries to Ukraine

The United States will continue to facilitate the supply of Soviet-made tanks from NATO countries to Ukraine.

The statement came from the White House on September 25, TASS reports.

On September 24, Military Watch wrote that Ukraine would receive Slovenian M-55S tanks, which were built on the basis of the Soviet T-55A, as NATO ran out of T-72 tanks. It was noted that Slovenia and Germany agreed on the transfer of this type of tank to Kyiv. Slovenia, in turn, will receive German transporters and trucks as compensation.
