USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier conducts operations in Arabian Sea
The US Navy carrier strike group led by the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) is conducting operations in the Arabian Sea as part of its forward-deployed mission area, US Central Command (CENTCOM) reports.

According to CENTCOM, the carrier hosts an embarked air wing that includes eight stealth F-35C Lightning II aircraft, carrier-based F/A-18 Hornet fighters, EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye surveillance and command aircraft, MH-60 Seahawk helicopters, and CMV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft used for logistics support.
The air wing also includes additional assets supporting maritime combat readiness and sustained naval operations.
