Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had launched ballistic missiles at an American aircraft carrier in the northern Indian Ocean and released video footage of the strike.
The Abraham Lincoln and the USS Gerald R. Ford have been deployed to the Middle East since the start of the U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran. On March 13, the IRGC previously claimed it had disabled the Abraham Lincoln, a report that has not been confirmed by U.S. forces.
