Uzbek embassy in Israel issues security advisory
The Uzbek Embassy in Israel has urged Uzbek citizens residing in or visiting the country to take heightened security precautions amid concerns over a possible escalation of tensions in the region.
The embassy advised citizens to remain close to protected shelters and to follow the instructions of local authorities. The diplomatic mission emphasised that anyone hearing an air raid siren should immediately seek shelter and remain there until receiving official clearance from Israel's Home Front Command, Caliber.Az reports via Uzbek media.
The advisory comes as security concerns have intensified following a series of military developments in the region. Earlier, Israel carried out strikes in Beirut, while Iran later announced retaliatory attacks targeting northern areas of Israel.
The embassy called on Uzbek nationals to closely monitor official announcements and comply with all emergency directives issued by Israeli authorities.
