Uzbekistan Airways alerts passengers to potential weather-related delays

Uzbekistan Airways has issued a warning to passengers about the possibility of brief flight delays caused by adverse weather conditions at Tashkent International Airport.

In a statement provided to Uzbek media, the airline explained that potential changes to departure times may result from the need to carry out additional pre-flight safety procedures, particularly the application of anti-icing treatment to aircraft.

The carrier emphasised that any temporary adjustments to the flight schedule will not affect the established passenger service process at the airport.

All standard pre-departure procedures — including check-in, passport control, and security screening — will continue to be carried out in accordance with existing regulations and within normal time limits.

Uzbekistan Airways advised passengers to monitor the status of their flights in advance and to follow updates provided at the airport as well as through the airline’s official communication channels.
