Uzbekistan Airways passenger receives emergency medical aid in Baku
A Uzbekistan Airways flight en route from Istanbul to Urgench was forced to make an emergency landing at Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport after a passenger onboard experienced a sudden health deterioration.
The airport’s press service confirmed that the Airbus A320 landed safely at 17:26 local time, Caliber.Az reports.
Upon arrival, an emergency medical team was immediately dispatched to the aircraft and provided first aid to the affected passenger.
Heydar Aliyev International Airport emphasized its preparedness to respond to such situations, noting that it maintains the capacity to handle emergency scenarios in line with international aviation safety standards. The airport is fully equipped to manage urgent incidents and ensures that all necessary procedures are in place to safeguard the well-being of passengers.
