Uzbekistan, Iran discuss expanding trade, economic cooperation

Uzbekistan and Iran have held talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties, with particular emphasis on trade and economic cooperation.
First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloev met with Mohammad Ali Eskandari, Ambassador of Iran, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged detailed views on current regional developments, including the situation in the Middle East.
The discussions also covered prospects for enhancing cooperation across political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, underscoring both countries’ interest in deepening bilateral engagement.
